Van Down, and Back on the Road!

During the heavy August rains, our daily delivery van was struck by a falling tree. This van was the workhorse of our operation, transporting food, supplies, and support to hundreds of families each month.

Thankfully, insurance will cover some of the loss. The van was declared totaled, and we are expecting to receive ~$19,000 for it.  We had to act right away to find a reliable replacement so that we could keep serving the community without interruption. The new-to-us, used van we purchased is slightly larger, 3 years younger with half the miles of the destroyed one.

Now, we’re reaching out to our amazing community to help. This unexpected van expense was not in our budget, and your support can help close the gap. Whether through a contribution, sharing our need with others, or leading a food drive or group fundraiser… every gesture helps us move forward.
